Your Big Day

Philosophy

I see my role as helping couples create the wedding that they want.

I believe it is important for a couple to feel comfortable with their celebrant; I like to meet over a cup of coffee, so you can get to know me, and talk about how you want to express your love and commitment for each other during your marriage ceremony.

Experience

I bring to your ceremony 25 years of experience as a celebrant in the UK, having been an Anglican priest and celebrant in London.

Privacy

Every couple deserves to be able to plan their big day knowing that their need for privacy will be respected. Couples can be assured that their conversations, ideas and plans will always be kept in the strictest of confidence.

About Me

I was born in the south of England and educated in Canterbury, Kent, where I sang in the Cathedral Choir.

I studied theology at Cambridge University and in Yorkshire, and worked as an Anglican priest for 25 years in London's East End, in the City of London and at Westminster Abbey.

Two years ago I moved to New Zealand to be with my partner who works as an emergency doctor in Hamilton.

We have 30 acres of land on the outskirts of Hamilton which we are developing into a country estate with a Manor House, landscaped gardens and a small farm.
